Laravel 4: Get one field of a collection with Eloquent
I'm really struggling with a problem. I've created this Eloquent model:
class Project extends Eloquent {
public $date;
}
And I've created a QueryBuilder:
$projects = Project::all();
$projects->get(array('date' => date('Y-m-d')));
The problem is, that when I print $projects I get an array with two elements, but it should have only one. If I print the object itself, I get the date.
What am I doing wrong here?

I think you just need to run ->first() instead of ->get(..)
